A striking building with a unique blend of classical and modern architecture stands prominently at a busy urban intersection. The structure features ornate historical elements at the lower levels, transitioning to sleek, reflective glass at the top. This is Edificio Heron Castilho, a high-rise residential and office building in Lisbon, Portugal, after redevelopment. The building combines old facade with modern overstorey. The facade features decorative elements in the Art Nouveau style. The redevelopment was based on extending the building by 6 more floors for offices, above the top of the original facade, completely covered in glass.
