These ancient cliff dwellings were the homes of Sinagua Indians who occupied a large area in central Arizona, from the Little Colorado River, near Flagstaff, to the Verde River, near Sedona, and the area around San Francisco Mountains, including the Walnut Canyon, between 500 AD and 1425 AD. The walls have been partly restored and stabilized. |
