Franklin won 18 Grammy Awards, was presented with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and was the first woman inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The singer with the Gospel music background is perhaps best known for her pop hits such as `Natural Woman,` and `I Say a Little Prayer.` Franklin died in Detroit on August 16, 2018 from pancreatic cancer at the age of 76.
