| Plasencia is a walled market city in the province of Caceres in the Spanish Extremadura and the town has a historic quarter that is a consequence of the city`s strategic location along the Silver Route, or Ruta de la Plata. Calle de la Encarnacion, located between the Plaza de la Catedral Nueva and Calle Talavera and equipped with many bows, was laid out in the 16th century when the New Cathedral was built. |
