| This is a Summer picture of the Aqua Building located in the Lakeshore Development of Chicago, Illinois. The 82 story mixed use residential skyscraper was designed by architects Jeanne Gang and James Loewenberg, is an example of ultra modern architecture, features balconies with irregularly shaped concrete floor slabs creating an undulating facade, thus the name Aqua, and was constructed 2007-2009. The structure was the 2009 Emporis Skyscraper Aword as the skyscraper of the year. This picture was taken on August 22, 2016. |
