| Richard Andreassen, winner of the 2013 Warren Estes Memorial Award, calls himself a Stargazer. He is a dedicated astronomical photographer who owns a mobile observatory that he uses to take photos of phenomena not visible at his regular home. He has decorated his trailer with his best photos of star constellations and solar eclipses. Richard Andreassen still uses traditional photography. Here he is waiting for his latest photos to be developed. Andreassen grew up in New York. His roots are in Norway - where he has never been. |
