Two ancient and modern bridges in Chongqing over the Yangtze River. The old bridge is the Yanyue Bridge in Maoxi, Jiangbei, which was built in the 28th year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, that is, it has a history of nearly 200 years since 1848. The whole bridge is 172 meters long and belongs to a 3-hole arch bridge. The new bridge behind is Chaotianmen Yangtze River Bridge. Qingcaoba in the north of the Yangtze River in the west and Wangjiatuo on the south bank in the east. The main span is 552 meters long and the total length is 1741 meters. If the front and rear approach sections are included, it is 4881 meters long. It was the longest arch bridge in the world when it was completed. Construction started in March 2006. , and opened to traffic in 2009. The track reserved on the lower floor was put into use with the Chongqing Rail Transit Ring Line on 2018.
