Bucharest, Romania. 14th Nov, 2025: Journalist Anca Alexandrescu (C) submits his candidacy for general mayor of Bucharest, at the Election Bureau of the Bucharest Municipality Constituency. Anca Alexandrescu is a Romanian journalist and political consultant who worked in political communication for the Social Democratic Party (PSD) during the governments of Adrian Nastase and Victor Ponta, including for former mayor Sorin Oprescu, and was a close collaborator of Liviu Dragnea. In 2018, she was appointed honorary adviser to Prime Minister Viorica Dancila. Later returned to the media as a TV host at Realitatea Plus.
