Amer Fort and Amer Village. This place is near Jaipur, Rajashthan, India. Amer Fort (also known as Amber Fort) situated in a town “Amer”, on Aravali Hills, approximately 11 Kms from Jaipur, the capital of state Rajasthan of India. It is main tourist attraction of Rajashthan. This fort was built by King Man Singh I who ruled from 1590 - 1614 A.D. The fort's architecture is of artistic Hindu style. Inner buildings of fort, housed public hall, private hall, Sheesh Mahal (Jai Mandir), Sukh Niwas. On outside the for there is lake Maota and garden for exotic spices. This fort has secret subterranean route to nearby Jaigarh Fort which was same Aravali Hills. Besides being a centre of tourist attraction, this place is also major attraction for Film and television Industry of India.
