| Palazzo Altieri is a noble residence located in Oriolo Romano, a commune in the province of Viterbo, Italy. The palace was built between 1579 and 1585 by the Santacroce family and was expanded by the Altieri family in 1674 during the papacy of Clement X. The facade is sober. The interior contains many frescoes: the seven images of Rome, stories of the Old Testament, and landscapes that represent places belonging to the familyâs era |
