| Kreuzberg an der Ahr is a part of Altenahr with the castle on the hill above the Ahr, Burg Kreuzberg. The castle is the only still inhabited castle in Ahr valley, just the chapel is open to the public. The village around the castle hill was hit hard by the flood in 2021 with massive destruction. This picture shows the place a year before the disaster, when it was still a nice tourist destination. |
