| The Aloe plant seems to have come from Such West Arabian Peninsula, and is long know for, and effective for a number of cosmetics and medicinal purposes. The Opuntia ficus-indica is more commonly know under a variety of names, including Barbary fig and cactus fig, prickly pear and cactus pear. Both of these plant do very well in dry, arid regions, so are good garden plants in areas that constantly face drought. |
