View of the vaulted parabolic ceiling of the atrium in the Allen Lambert Galleria in Toronto during the evening. An example of postmodernism, the six-story high galleria was designed by Santiago Calatrava, an architect from Spain. It serves as a public passageway connecting Bay Street and Yonge Street, and has become an iconic landmark of the downtown city core. It is part of the Brookfield Place office complex and incorporates the historic and former Bank of Montreal branch at Yonge Street and Front Street.
