A group of White Garden Snails (Theba pisana) has chosen cleverly a safe place to aestivate. On top of a dry Milk Thistle Plant (Silybum marianum) four White Garden Snails enjoy the protection of the now dry and spiny leaves of the Thistle plant, staying well over the ground adds additional security during aestivation.
