| The Castle of Torres Torres is of Muslim origin. Its floor plan is polygonal and it includes three interior enclosures, as well as being flanked on its exterior corners by four thick circular towers. There's a square-shaped keep in the middle of the courtyard of the third enclosure, which dates from a latter period. It was inhabited until the end of the 16th century.Canvases and fragments of the wall have been preserved. It's currently in poor condition, having undergone no restoration work. |
