Monstera deliciosa, ceriman, is a species of plant with flower native to tropical forests of the south of Mexico, to the south of Panama. It is commonly grown for interior decoration in public buildings and as houseplant. It grows best between temperatures of 20 to 30 ÃÂ° C 68 to 86 ÃÂ° F and requires high humidity and shade. This plant lives in the humid tropical forests, in the plains and mountains of the middle, in the extreme south of Mexico and also in Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama.
