| Johnson Model 1941 Rifle, recoil operated semi-automatic. 30-06 caliber. Rotary 10 round magazine. Made by the Creston Arms Co. Designed by Marine Officer Melvin Johnson. Rifle used by U.S. Marines in both Pacific and European theaters. A World War II Pacific Theater veteran brought this rifle back to the U.S. The rifle was housed for more than ten years at a small museum in Texas. Photo taken by Canon 5D2 |
