When the owner did a major restoration on a First Generation Corvette, many systems were upgraded to modern standards such as the LS7 motor which is a 7.0L 454C.I. V-8 capable of producing 505 HP. The First Generation Corvette had a drum brake system which was upgraded to a Wilwood disc brake system during the restoration.
