16th edition Celtic Festival of Insubria of Ticino
For years Insubria Festival has been celebrating the Insubria area with historical re-enactment groups and a full program of Celtic music concerts with internationally renowned singers. The festival always takes place between April and May for a long review at the Villa Ghiotti Park in Marcallo con Casone. Great importance is given to historical re-enactment groups with strong participation of local groups, Bretons and Irish. Guided tours are planned to historic fields, internships for children and adults archery, weaving, bread making, coin beating. Also very important is the program of concerts of traditional insubstantial and Celtic music with internationally renowned bands / singers. It will also include the involvement of youth and non-local music bands in order to give visibility also to the musical offer of the territory. In conjunction with the concerts will be held on Celtic dances held by experienced masters. There will be the usual Celtic craft market that offers objects, clothes, jewelry, books, music. Tastings of food and drink of the Celtic culinary tradition and unpretentious with local KMZero products.
