The weir over which the River Dene flows into the River Avon in Charlecote Park. This weir was designed by the architect `Capability` Brown c1757 and is approximately five miles upriver from the world famous Stratford upon Avon, the home of William Shakespeare. Many of the trees are in autumnal colours. |
