| Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish or Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe is located just west of the Taos Plaza at 205 Don Fernando Street in downtown Taos, New Mexico. The original church on this site was completed in 1802. Padre Antonio José MartÃÂnez served the parish church beginning in August 1826. Hung in each of the three churches that have been built on this site has been a painting by Jose Santiago made in 1674 of Our Lady of Guadalupe that had been given to Padres Martinez as a gift. |
