Netherlands, North Holland province, city Haarlem: protected cityscape, Still Life of the Great or St. Bavo church at the Grote Markt. This former Catholic cathedral is now a Protestant basilica. The medieval cruciform church was built in Gothic architectural style. This historic building is cultural heritage, a national monument, famous landmark and tourist attraction. In the middle of the building is a wooden, covered with lead, late Gothic tower. The church is among the top hundred of Dutch UNESCO World Heritage monuments. It is placed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO. At the left the statue of Laurens Janszoon Coster, one of the inventors, inventor, of the printing press. Haarlem was his birthplace. This sculpture dates from the middle of the nineteenth century. This memorial is also a national monument. These landmarks, tourist attractions, are public art treasures, collection.
