| Along the road from Manali, in the foothills of the northwestern Indian Himalayas, to Leh, the capital of Ladakh, a former kingdom next to Tibet and with much similarities between them, travellers will meet a lot of traffic signs with sometimes very strange sayings on them. They nevertheless are a funny detail in the impressive and mighty scenery of the highest motorable road in the world, here at an altitude of 4700m above sea level. |
