| Dong Hoi citadel, Thành ÃÂá»âng Há»âºi in Vietnamese, is located in Hoi city, Quang Binh province, Viet Nam. This place is the fortress with high fences and towers, protecting the kings and the capital of Nguyen dynasty since 1630. This citadel was built in 1812. In 1824, a French general rebuilt it into an invincible fortress which has the shape of a star. Nowadays, the Hoi citadel is still a important witness of war. |
