This is a unique picture of the historic Crow Island School. The school designed by the architects Saarinen, Eliel, and Eero, is an example of the International style of Architecture, the school was built in 1940. The school was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 27, 1987 and was declared a National Landmark on October 14, 1990. In the forefront of this picture are the original set of a Jungle Gym. They were designed by Sebastian Hinton of Chicago. This set was the second protype Jungle Gym produced in 1920.
