| Alpe d`HuZes is a unique dutch sporting event where as much money as possible is collected for research into cancer and to improve the quality of life of people with cancer. In one day, 5000 participants climb the Alpe d`Huez up to six times cycling, running, or walking, under the slogan `giving up is not an option`. In the roadside, people burn candles for family or friends who have died of cancer. |
