Arokyapacha or Arokya pacha- Scientific name is Trichopus zeylanica- Small herbaceous plant grows on sandy soil near rivers and streams, unshaded places on low land and intermediate altitude forests (Western ghats). It flowers yearlong and the fruits are thought to be dispersed through out. The herb has rejuvenating properties like anti stress, immune stimulation, relief of fatigue, activation of the bodys natural defenses and cellular immune system- Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India
