A rare sight: The Four Peaks covered with snow; they are a prominent landmark east of Phoenix, part of the Mazatzal Mountains. The name Four Peaks is a reference to the four distinct peaks of a north-south ridge forming the mountain´s summit. The northernmost peak (left) is named Browns Peak and is the tallest of the four at 7, 657 feet (2, 334 m); saguaro cacti in the foreground. Check out my portfolio for more views of The Four Peaks!
