The spotted deer (scientific name: Cervus nippon) belongs to the deer genus of the family Deer, with a body length of 140-170 centimeters, shoulder height of 85-100 centimeters, tail length of 12-13 centimeters, and a weight of 100-150 kilograms. Males have horns, while females have no horns. Bucks usually have 3-4 forked horns. The sika deer has large and upright ears, slender limbs, a symmetrical trunk, and a short tail. The fur is red with multiple irregular white spots along both sides of the spine, the lower jaw is white, the nose and cheeks are sandy yellow, the back of the tail is dark brown, the lower part of the tail and groin are white, and the abdominal hair is light brown.
