| The yellow-naped Amazon is a widespread Amazon parrot, sometimes considered a subspecies of the yellow-crowned Amazon. It inhabits the Pacific coast of southern Mexico and Central America. It was recently reclassified as Critically Endangered by the IUCN Red List due to a dramatic decline across its range. The species has lost over 92% of its population in the last three generations. |
