Pictured is the 14th Station of the Cross in the Church of Santa Margherita d`Antiochia. Jesus is placed in the tomb. The church is located in the seaside village of Vernazza, near the main square of the town, Piazza Guglielmo Marconi. The first church on this site was built in the 11th century. The current church is mentioned for the first time in a document in 1318. It has had multiple renovations including a 19th century creation of access to the church from the square, through a door built in the apse area.
