| The Wittmoor nature reserve Low German for white moor is located in the north of Hamburg in the districts of Duvenstedt
and Lemsahl-Mellingstedt. The raised bog extends as far as GlashÃÆütte, a district of Norderstedt in Schleswig-Holstein.
A hiking trail leads through the renaturalised and dammed up high moor. Early historical plank dams led across the Wittmoor.
