Winningen is a village in lower Mosel valley near Koblenz. Above the village wide steep vineyards cover the hills to the Eifel side of the river valley. The village is also known for the high bridge Moseltalbrücke of Autobahn A61 also called Winninger Brücke by the locals. The tall concrete bridge can be seen from most places in the village nearby, but doesn't go across the houses. The beautiful waterfront area has several place for cruise ships to stop.
