The wind horse flag is an ancient custom of the time of xiangxiong. Our modern Tibetan compatriots have many customs and ways of life and many unique ways of blessing. Some small flags of square, horn and strip are fixed on the door head, ropes, clan buildings and branches in an orderly way, swaying between the earth and the sky, forming a realm connecting the earth with the sky. Bunting hung between pavilions and pine trees is covered with Tibetan incantations, sutras, buddhist statues and mascot figures. The Tibetan people believe that the patron gods of the mountains and rivers in the snow-covered areas are the gods of praise in the sky and the gods of nian in the earth. They often ride wind horses to patrol the snow-covered mountains, forests, grasslands and valleys to protect the tranquility and peace of the snow-covered tribes and resist the invasion of demons and evil spirits.
