| Two teenage girls pouring water into a pot from hand pump tube well at the Sundarban, India. Due to super cyclone AILA in 2009 all the drinking water sources of these areas were filled with saline water and they bound drink that polluted water because there was no drinking water available. Many people especially children suffers from water related diseases. After primary relief the administration set up some deep tube well with manual hand pumps for safe drinking water. Now they collect their drinking water from these tube wells and hope to a better life. |
