Pictured is the Wall of Healing mural by Reverend January Kiefer at 1029 North Kansas on the south wall of a building on the property of the United Methodist Church. The mural flows around all four sides of the building, an old gas station years ago that was purchased by the Church. It was created over two years from 2014 to 2016 by the artist who used to be pastor of the Church, and community volunteers. The mural speaks of healing, of compassion, of forgiveness - of putting aside differences and remembering that everyone is part of the same family â the human family.
