Pictured is the east side of the Wall of Healing mural by Reverend January Kiefer at 1029 North Kansas on a building on the property of the United Methodist Church. A group of multicultural dancers in matching outfits leap into the air. Their celebratory spirit shows the gift of life and the unity that Kiefer says exists in the human race, even if some may have a hard time seeing it. The mural flows around all four sides of the building, an old gas station years ago that was purchased by the Church. It was created over two years from 2014 to 2016 by the artist who used to be pastor of the Church, and community volunteers.
