| In ancient Dubrovnik steps and stairs are everywhere. Some years ago, a team counted them: there are 4,343 steps in the Old Town and the city wall has 1,080. As the city is built on a hill, this is not a surprise. The steps and stairs are part of Dubrovnikââ¬â¢s charm and we love them. Dubrovnik is also a beautiful UNESCO World Heritage city, so all buildings are restored according to specific regulations. Because layouts must stay as they are, there are no lifts in properties in the Old Town |
