This bird is so well known that there is no need to remind you how it looks. In the spring there is one of the first, followed by the rooks, starlings and larks. In the very first days of April, it usually is here. Her arrival often coincides with the opening of the local rivers. The first few days upon arrival it is easiest to catch on the river bank. Here, birds or wander from the water's edge, or fly on floating ice floes. But soon they appear in towns and cities.
