Its basilica plan is divided into three naves with five sections. The central one, wider and higher than the lateral ones, is covered with sexpartite vaults and the lateral ones with a simple ribbed vault.It seems that originally the side vaults were covered with wooden roofs, but these burned in a terrible fire that devastated the church in 1445, and the current vaults were built in the second half of the 15th century.
