| In the fall and spring of 2013/14 the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix hosted an exhibition of glass artist Dale Chihuly. The spots for his sculptures and installations were carefully selected to offer new perceptions of this desert environment. This Blue Fiori Sun is surrounded by typical plants of the Sonoran Desert: a cholla cactus on the left, a palo verde tree in the background, an ocotillo on the righ, agaves in the foreground.
