This 125-foot (31 m) Arizona State Capitol Spire was realized in 2002 as an ornament for a North Scottsdale shopping center. At night, fluorescent lights inside the spire emanate a light sapphire blue glow through the translucent acrylic panels. Palo verde trees and agaves surround the spire. The illuminated version is in my portfolio (>Lloyd Wright). |
