A collage photograph showing 2 different panels of beautiful decorative stain glass in the famous church of Saint Pierre de Montmarte, Paris, France. It is the only remaining building of Montmarte Abbey and is the oldest church in Paris. It was built during the 11th century on the site of a Merovingian church. Saint Pierre de Montmarte Church was superbly restored by Sauvageot in the late 19th century. The modern stained glass windows of the apse and aisles were designed by Max Ingrand in 1953. Beautiful and colourful details in art deco style.
