Cappadocia - the historical name of the area in the east of Asia Minor in modern Turkey (part of the land provinces of Nevsehir, Kayseri, Aksaray and Nigde) is used since antiquity to the present day. Characterized by an extremely interesting landscape of volcanic origin, underground cities, created in 1st thousand BC and extensive cave monasteries, leading its history since the days of the early Christians. Göreme National Park and Cappadocia cave settlements are included in UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the most interesting areas of Cappadocia is the area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹the village of Cavusin, near which there are a large number of cave dwellings in the rock churches and monasteries 5 - 10 centuries AD and beautiful rock formations.
