Travertine hill called Sivá Brada (Grey Beard). This 25-meter-high hill is one of the few still living travertine piles in Slovakia. It is due to the still rising mineralized water, especially in the north and south of the hills.Chapel of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on Sivá Brada in Spis region during spring, Europe, Slovakia. Travertine rock in the front. Baroque chapel dating from 1675 with a horseshoe-shaped presbytery, renovated in the rococo style. It stands on a 25 m high "living" travertine dome.
