Enlisted in the UNESCO world heritage, the Hurezi (or Horezu) monastery combines two architectural patterns, the byzantine Orthodox and brancovenesc styles. The latter is named by the saint that promoted it, the former ruler of Wallachia, saint Constantine Brancoveanu.
