| Hiking trail leading up to the base of rock formation jutting upwards from the surrounding plains of western Nebraska near the the city of Scotts Bluff. Seemingly endless flat country to the west stretched for many miles. But experienced travelers knew that the rock were the beginning of a much harder trek. The rock can be seen for miles in all directions on a bright but cloudy day. Gathering storm clouds signal a weather change soon. |
