The Torre de Collserola is communications tower in the city of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia. It was build in 1991 by the architect Sir Norman Foster specially for the Barcelona Olympic games in 1992. It has a unique design with guy wires for lateral support like a mast. Mainly used as a TV and radio transmitter, this futuristic design provides the highest viewpoint over the city. The top antenna reaches 288.4 m and the building has 13 floors.
