The Archaeological Park of Baratti and Populonia, opened on 11th July 1998, houses one of the most important contexts of Etruscan civilisation, which owes its own commercial and cultural development principally to the steel and iron activity. There are a lot of tombs. This tomb are the remains of a shrine tomb: the general shape of the structure must have been similar to a small temple. This tomb was used over a very long period of time from the 6th to the 4th centuries BC.
