Sogen Pond Garden or Sogenchi Teien in Tenryu-ji Zen Temple in Kyoto. Designed by Zen monk Muso Soseki in the 14th century. It is the first site in Japan to be designated by the Japanese Government as a Site of Special Historic and Scenic Importance Shiseki, Tokubetsu Meisho.
